Some of the popularly known public parks include Safa Park, Zabeel Park, Creek Park, Mushrif Park, Al Mamzar park, and Jumeirah beach park – the last two mentioned also having several small, clean beaches with access to the sea.

Dubai Zoo
Catch an afternoon of discovery and fun at the Dubai Zoo, located in the heart of Jumeirah. Including an exhaustive collection of commonly seen animals and birds, the zoo boasts many rare species of Arabian wild life.

Dubai Museum
The Al Fahidi fort (situated in Bur Dubai which houses the Dubai Museum) and the Sheikh Saeed house in the Al Shindaga area are a must-see for visitors who want to get a taste of the simple yet tough life that the UAE residents experienced before the discovery of oil. The museum offers well documented evidence of traditional Arab architecture, pearl diving and dhow building practices, the concept of the old style souq and ancient objects discovered from various archaeological sites in Dubai.
